PV-systems can be deployed in grid integration mode using two ways; Dual stage grid connected and single stage grid connected. A comprehensive survey on the analysis of the performances of both the configurations of grid tied system is presented. A review on the strategies and the way they are connected to the grid. In both the mentioned PV system topologies, the dc/ac converter Controls the amplitude of the currents injected into the grid. In order to guarantee the balance between the power produced by the PV array and that absorbed by the grid, converters plays a very important role.
